Deepening Roots Locally

May has been a month of ongoing dedication and deepened impact at Open Minds Open Doors. As we continue to support children across seven continents, our mission remains focused and strong. Our California chapter continued its hands-on engagement with weekend science fairs and peer mentoring programs.

What’s Been Happening

• Detroit and Fremont: Continued mentorship and educational support initiatives

• California: Science-in-action programs and health curriculum outreach

• India and Africa: Distribution of updated life skills kits

• Europe and South America: Focus on health, nutrition, and hygiene in schools

We’ve also hosted regional check-ins this month to ensure that every chapter is supported and growing. These meetings are central to our accountability and our ability to adapt our programs to each region’s unique challenges.
